Campaigns

I have some experience with production of event and campaign material…

Working at University of Copenhagen, I produced material for events such as Culture Night and Research Day. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to bring it with me, when I left my job at the university, and consequently can’t upload it. The only campaign material I can show you, is the material I produced in connection with my course in Digital and Graphic Communication at Copenhagen School of Design and Technology (Københavns Erhvervs Akademi) 2012. Hopefully, it will give you an idea of my skills

ROCKABILLY BALL IN VESTERBRO

The campaign Rockabilly Ball in Vesterbro was my final assignment on the above-mentioned course in Digital and Graphic Communcation, and I had one week to complete it. The campaign consisted of graphic design material for print (poster, flyer and postcard) and a website. I would love to be at a rockabilly ball in Vesterbro, so why not use it as my case? Every year, the Secretariat Golden Days holds a historical festival in collaboration with a number of cultural institutions in Copenhagen. In 2012, the theme for the festival was the 1950s. That was perfect. The stage was set. I imagined the 1950s rockabilly ball in Vesterbro to be one of several events/shows/concerts etc. during the Golden Days 2012 festival. Oddly enough, it turned out later that the Golden Days actually had a rockabilly ball on the programme.

Campaigns – Flyer: "Rockabilly Ball at Vesterbro" (part of a fictitious campaign)
Flyer – imagined distributed from an open convertible by young girls wearing crinolines and ballerina shoes and young men with brylcreeme og waisted trousers – accompanied, of course, by raw rockabilly rhythms blasting from the car radio

Campaigns – post card (back): "Rockabilly Ball at Vesterbro" (part of fictitious campaign)
"Rockabilly ball at Vesterbro" postcard (the back). Part of a fictitious campaign
Postcard – imagined as free go-cart postcards you can take at cafes and bars and which are often used for writing birthday greetings etc. on. A cheap and effective way to spread a message – especially in Vesterbro and surrounding regions, where residents go out a lot
